So long and thanks for all the fish.

We saw Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy a few weeks back, and boy is that a catchy song. So this is my last post before wedding-mania officailly begins (it's already begun, but I guess now it's go time). I've continued with the feverish stress-knitting, and having run out of wool for the pink cable-y scarf (I'll finish it when I get more), I whipped this sucker out:

so long.

By this time next week, I will be a married woman and on my way to England. Yee haw! See you at the end of October!

Dude, I know...

You Belong in London

A little old fashioned, and a little modern.

A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock.

A unique woman like you needs a city that offers everything.

No wonder you and London will get along so well.

Okay, enough already.

norolicious

All right, I guess I'm done with the Noro hats for now. Here's what I'm working on at the moment:

This just reeks of hiking

That's on its way to becoming a knockoff of the Irish Hiking Scarf from Hello Yarn. This pattern is awesome and so fun to knit. The pattern calls for worsted weight and I am using Brown Sheep Bulky instead, so I reduced the pattern from three cable panels to two, and I'm making both right and left-twisting cables instead of just right. It's really an enjoyable knit and I'm sure I'll make another one at some point. It's simple enough to be mindless knitting, yet the cables keep it interesting.

New Knitty..oh, yay!

Wow, is the new Knitty good. Already, I know I will definitely be making Flora, because it is one of the cutest patterns I ever have seen. So many other good ones, too - Blackberry, Leaves in Relief, Josephine, Samus - heck, I like pretty much all of them. Yay for fall! Yay for Knitty!
